✔ Omaha Zoo

The Omaha Zoo was on our bucket list of things to do this year before we move to Thailand.  For being the #1 rated zoo in the world it would have been a shame not to go while we live only 2 hours away.  Thailand will offer its own variety of wild life, but we thought it good to start training Judson on what a poisonous snake looks like.  :)

Papa came along for the day, and while I thought Judson was going to respond this way the whole day things started looking up when........

........we found a cave!

And a turtle!

Can you spot the sleeping tiger?

The aquarium was incredible.  Probably our favorite part.  You felt like you were under the ocean.

These jelly fish were beautiful.  My favorite thing we saw!

There was a petting zoo that we didn't stay long in.  Someone had no interest in touching the animals.  :)

Another cave!  Judson took awhile to work up some bravery to actually walk himself in the cave.  By the end he was marching with overconfidence.

The jungle was right up there with the aquarium in awe factor.  Judson was most excited to see the oohoohooh eee eee eee aahaahaah monkeys.

Matt and I tried taking a picture of just us.  Notice the weird gap.  That is some small person down below trying to interfere.

The Jungle

This boy had such a fun day.  It's something special to watch your child see and experience new things in life that bring them so much delight.

The best ride at the zoo.  :)

Before heading home we stopped for some ice cream (Starbucks for me).

Time to cross off the Omaha Zoo.........
