Back in November, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Chiang Mai, Thailand to spend a little over a week getting to know our future (potential at the time) teammates, explore Chiang Mai, meet the employees at the business, among many other things. The pictures to follow are some of the highlights of our trip. We came home even more excited about the upcoming opportunity that God has given our family in Thailand and continue to look forward to our target move date in January '17!
Saying goodbye to our Judson. It wasn't easy, but it was such a relief leaving him in the wonderful hands of Paul and Joan who we knew would love and care for him in a special way that only grandparents can!
The first few days there we spent time getting over "jet lag" and doing "touristy" stuff around the city.
Who knew elephants had such talent?!
Snake show! Kait's least favorite part of the trip. ;)
The Steffens took us up into the mountains where we saw some incredible views and got some fresh coffee.

One of Matt's highlights - Bike Ride to the Waterfalls
Beautiful mountain scenery outside Chiang Mai - Postcard material right there!
Sticky Waterfalls were refreshing, unique, and quite fun!
We had the privilege of spending half of the time staying with Evan, Emily, Benson, Luci (and baby Nora).
Had to experience a Thai massage.
Expat Homes Thanksgiving
It was so neat to see the team relate to and spend time with the Expat employees and their families!
Our final morning trip debriefing with the team.
