Party Time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSIE!

Last evening Matt and I did some babysitting for some great friends of ours (Jason and Jessie), so they could go out on a birthday date.  After Jason and Jessie left, the kids and I decided it would be fun to make mommy a cake and throw a little surprise birthday party for her.  We made our way to the grocery store where Kaden and Macy decided on strawberry cake with lots of sprinkles on top, and of course we couldn't have a party without some fun hats and plates!  When we got home we took turns stirring the cake batter, and Kaden and Macy kept telling me what a "strong stirrer" I was. =)

Jason and Jessie were both surprised!  Yay, we pulled it off!

Here they all are in their party hats!

Very thankful to have friendships founded on Christ!!!!

Lake Vacation

We had a little vacation to Table Rock lake with Troy and Amity and Jason and Maggi (plus all the kids) last weekend.  Amity's father has a house very close to the lake with a boat and jet-ski.  It is literally the perfect set-up for a weekend at the lake!  This was Matt and my first real vacation away together this year, so we thoroughly enjoyed the lazy mornings and afternoons mixed with time out on the lake and at the pool.  It was also fun to spend time with family in which we truly love.

Here is Troy making our first breakfast of pancakes and eggs.  YUM!  Not only did we have a good time but also some great food to go along with it!

Rylen and Kyson just chilling and watching some TV.

These 2 look a little wiped out! =)

I love spending time with my favorite person!!!

Kyson preaching a sermon to Uncle Matt.

Rylen LOVES, LOVES the gator.  Any chance he had he would go sit on this thing.  When we were all inside he would just hangout at the door wanting to escape outside to find his LOVE!

So much fun being an aunt!

Thanks Troy for the whip lash!!!

It was a fun weekend!  Matt and I were both sad to leave the relaxed feeling of being at the lake.  Thanks Troy and Amity for inviting us!!!
