Family at the K

It just so happened that Matt purchased Royal's tickets for the same night that his dad did.  Neal and Kim were in town and going to the game with dad and mom, so we decided to make an event out of it.

We ate at Jack Stack before the game.  I usually like to split meals with Matt, but I have decided that nevermore at Jack Stack will we split.  I WANT MY WHOLE MEAL TO MYSELF!

I can't decide if we are happy in this picture because we are married to each other or because we are eating at Jack Stack.  :D

A night at the K.  I have to say that Jack Stack BBQ doesn't come close to how amazing it is to be married to this guy!  #myhubsisamazing

Cousins in KC

It's pretty sweet to have Jevremov cousins in Kansas.  I grew up coming to Shanelle and Danae's house never dreaming I would live only a few hours from both of them someday.  Thanks though to a certain handsome Kansas boy I now do!  ;)

Us Kansas cousins collaborated and planned a day trip to KC.  We kicked off our day by meeting at Ikea and then ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  From there we headed to Trader Joes and then went our separate ways.  It was great to connect and of course visit some of my favorite big city stores.  This may have to turn into a summer tradition.

Judson and the Kitty

Just in the last couple months has Judson started to enjoy animals.  Before then he was terrified.  He still gets nervous around them and only likes to pet small ones.  Cats are his favorite.

We were over at the pond swimming when we saw the this kitty run by.  Judson was very upset that the kitty was running away from him.

As you can see his feeling were very hurt.

But he quickly forgave kitty though.

And said hi to kitty.

Judson loves kitty.

Visiting Daddy at Work

Every once in a while Judson and I head out to KSi to visit Matt at work.  Judson goes right to Matt and wants to sit on his lap and play with all the "toys" on Matt's desk.  His eyes get big as he looks at me and sighs, letting me know how BIG and important he feels.  He even got to operate the desk on his own for a bit.  As you can see he enjoyed that immensely.  :)

Cousins & Grandparents House

Over the past few month Judson has gotten some quality play time with many of his Kaeb cousins.  It's special to live by cousins yet so neat when the out of town cousins come visit!

Judson gets very excited when he sees that we are driving to grandpa and grandma's house.  He loves to ride bikes on their big driveway and mow it.  He also like the pond but more for the sand then for swimming.

Random July Moments

While sorting our pictures from the last month I came across a few that I thought were worth documenting.  I love having our blog so that my far away family can see pictures of Judson as he grows as well as keep up with our family, but mostly I love having our blog for our family's sake.  It is a simple way for me to store memories to look back on.

Here are some random July moments ----->

When I see pictures of all 3 of us together my heart fills with gratefulness and thankfulness to God for blessing me with Matt and Judson.  I am continually challenged in my roles as wife and mom to these two yet love growing in those two areas of my life.

Judson is very into babies.  Here he is kissing a baby doll.  He loves to hold his baby cousin Ivy Rae and is so sweet and gentle with her.

The cutest firefighter I've ever seen!

Judson got to go to the library for the first time.  He was not into the books at all.  :D

Big boy haircut

Judson loves to put his snacks in a measuring cup while using a measuring spoon to scoop the snack into his mouth.

Cuddle bugs!

Judson is quite the goof and I love his quiet yet humorous personality!

Judson is well taken care of at church.  :D

This picture makes me realize what a great mix Judson is of us.
