As a young girl I loved the times that my family got together with my mom's side of the family, the Jevremovs. My mom has 5 sisters who are all spread out, so when we got together with them and their families it was SPECIAL. I never thought that I would end up living near my Aunt Maria and Uncle John in Emporia, Kansas. Thanks to God giving me a Kansas hubby the Wernli's are my closest Jev relatives.
This past weekend we went to Emporia to see them.

We love spending time with them! It's special to me that I get to live so close to my mom's sister.
My cousin Shanelle and her husband Dan live in Emporia too. We love being so close to them as well! We had fun getting to see their daughter Bristol. She is 4 months older than Judson.

Saturday morning we then headed to McPherson, KS. Why? Because my cousin Danae (John & Maria's daughter) and her husband Josh and son Haddon now live there!
Judson and Haddon are 3 months apart. I already know that they are going to have great fun as they grow up!
Danae and I were close growing up. Growing up, whenever we were together, we would always stay up late and DREAM. Dream about our futures, our desires, things that we felt God putting on our hearts. I would have never dreamed that God would place us just 3 hours apart. Danae moved back to Kansas from California after hubby Josh graduated seminary and took a position at a church in McPherson. I hope that we can get together with them often!
