Once a year we seem to make it out to IL to visit Neal and Kim for a week. It's great because I (Kait) get a little vacation and Matt is able to go into the IL office and catch-up and connect with everyone there.
Kim hosted a Norwex party while we were there, so I had some fun helping her with the food. Wish I could snap my fingers to recreate some of the things on this table! I guess I could do it the old fashioned way too.....

We were able to sneak away one night for a double date with Kim and Neal. It's never a question of whether we will have fun with them or not. Fun is not an option! So amidst the good food and drinks and deliciously, delicate pistachio chocolate cupcake and bonbons was some great conversation and togetherness.
Yes, Judson tagged along. He is waving hi. Might I add that I have such a handsome date. 2 of them!!!
Kim and Neal-LOVE YOU!
We always enjoy our time in Illinois. Thanks Kim and Neal for your hospitality. You guys have a gift! Already ready for next year...... :D
Our week at Kim and Neal's transitioned into a Kaeb family reunion in Fairbury, IL where we celebrated Matt's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Wow, what a milestone!

I never look forward to getting together with a large crowd of people, but was thankful to see grandpa and grandma Kaeb and see Matt having fun with his uncles, aunts, and cousins. The "crowd" wasn't too bad either. ;)
On our way back home to Sabetha we met up with my mom in Hannibal to grab a few things from her. Judson was so happy to get out of the car and move his little body.
We also discover on the way home that Judson is a big fan of iced caramel macchiatos and chocolate chip cookies. Hmmm, taking after mommy I see. We will keep working on the veggies.
As much as we like to travel and see people it is always nice to come home. Thankful for our little homey home!
