Kait Turns 25!

Well, I turned 25 a week ago and can't believe I've been married almost 4 years and have a son.  I feel so blessed to have the 2 men (one man and one mini-man) in my life.

Matt had meetings around Quincy on my birthday, so Judson and I tagged along and spent time with my mom during the meetings.  Matt had told me that his meetings were going to go into the evening so my mom planned to take me out to eat for my birthday.  She set up reservations at a newer restaurant in Quincy.  We pulled up and she told me to go inside to see if our table was ready before we get Judson out.  I kinda thought that was a strange request because we had a reservation at 6:30 and it was 6:27, but finally just obeyed my mamma (her requesting something like that is not uncommon).  I was so focused on my task of seeing if our table was ready I about missed the handsome man in the corner.....yes, Matt was there.  =)

I thought Matt getting up early to go get me Starbucks was the best part of my day until this surprise!  My mom drove off with Judson and we got to enjoy a quiet, may I say, romantic dinner together.

Living in a small town now has really made me appreciate Starbucks in a whole new way!  Matt knows my weakness.

I don't think this smile left my face the whole time at the restaurant.

Pretty much my favorite husband!....and the only one!  =)

This has been the most memorable steak in my lifetime.  Filet topped with blue cheese sauce and marinated portabella mushroom.

We decided to skip dessert at the restaurant and head over to the grocery store to pick up some ice cream.  My choice was pistachio gelato.  YUM!

We took the gelato back to my mom's apartment to share with her.  We found Judson very happy to be with his Nana, but also happy to see us come back.

Thanks Nana for watching Judson.  We all love you!
